Medeama SC defender, Abdul Fatawu Hamidu has joins Black Stars team in Nashville.

Medeama’s Abdul Fatawu Hamidu, has linked up with the Black Stars squad in Nashville, Tennessee in anticipation of the international friendly against the United States.

Hamidu was absent from the friendly against Mexico on Saturday due to his participation in the Capital City Cup match between Medeama SC and DC United. Nevertheless, he promptly joined the Ghanaian team in Nashville after the game.

The former Accra Lions player is set to train alongside the rest of the squad on Monday as they gear up for their match against the United States on Tuesday.

Hamidu recently made his debut for Ghana last month in the 3-0 friendly victory against Liberia.

Meanwhile, the Black Stars are determined to rebound against the US after their loss to Mexico.

These international friendlies serve as crucial preparatory matches for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers and the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
