Accra Great Olympics coach Annor Walker has heaped praises on Maxwell Abbey Quaye who grabbed a hat trick against newcomers Accra Lions on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Maxwell Abbey Quaye becomes the first player to score a hat trick in the league this season after his mouth-watering performance in front of their fans on Sunday night.

“I am so happy for him. He is a player I love so much, and I know what he can do” Annor Walker said

“He was out against Real Tamale United because he had malaria we didn’t want to stress him, so we had to rest him for that game”

“I gave him the chance today and he has proven that he is one of the best strikers in the country” he added

Great Olympics bounced back from the disappointment in Tamale where they shared spoils with newcomers Real Tamale United in the first fixture of the new Ghana Premier League season.
