Kotoko are yet to take their foot off the paddle as their first-round performance has earned them a place at the summit of the table. This weekend, Dreams FC will test their resolve for another time in a scintillating fixture at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

In the opening match of the campaign, the Porcupine Warriors got the better of their visitors as they thrashed them in a 4 goals thriller at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors have had barely a week to rest and prepare for this game as they pulled up a pulsating goalless draw against defending champions Accra Hearts of Oak.

Dreams FC will come into this duel with an objective of upsetting the odds against Kotoko, they may have lost the opening battle but there is a lot riding on this game for them as they will need to get their acts right in order to build a formidable momentum for the remaining matches if they are to stake a claim in the top 4.

Fatawu Issahaku may have since departed to Sporting Lisbon but the presence of Ali Huzaf and Agygenim Boateng should cause Kotoko problems in a bid to improve on their 9th position on the log.

This match promises to be an interesting one, it’s the third-best defensive setup of the league against the finest attacking side in the league.

    Predictions: Kotoko 2-0 Dreams FC
