Mark Addo, the Vice President of the Ghana Football Association, recently visited Medeama SC,  ahead of Remo Stars clash in the CAF Champions league

This visit took place in preparation for Medeama’s CAF Champions League preliminary game against Nigeria’s Remo Stars.

The first leg of this preliminary round match in the CAF Champions League will be held at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on August 19.

Medeama SC, often referred to as the Mauve and Yellow, have been training in Cape Coast since earlier in the week. Mark Addo’s purpose in visiting the team’s training camp was to inspire and motivate the players in anticipation of the crucial first leg encounter.

In their preparation for the upcoming match, Medeama SC has engaged in a series of friendly games against both domestic and international opponents.

Their aim has been to reach peak performance before the game. The Ghana FA Vice President, during his visit to the training camp, encouraged the players to go beyond their limits as they represent Ghana in this year’s competition.

On the other hand, Remo Stars FC, the Nigerian team, are scheduled to arrive in Ghana on Friday via a private jet.

Upon their arrival, they will head directly to the Cape Coast Sports Stadium as per CAF regulations for away teams. There, they will conduct a mandatory training session on the pitch.

Medeama SC is fully aware of the importance of the impending match and is determined to give their best performance.

Their focus is on achieving a resounding victory on their home ground and then carrying that momentum forward to succeed on Nigerian soil.
