    Asante Kotoko coach Mariano Barreto and player Emmanuel Gyamfi have both been banned and fined by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association.



    Mariano Barreto was charged for comments after Kotoko’s game against Legon Cities. Barreto was accused of making offensive statements about the performance of the referees.

    Emmanuel Gyamfi on the other hand was charged for stamping on Andy Okpe of Inter Allies a few weeks ago at the Theatre of Dreams, Dawu.

    Both the player and manager have been found guilty by the GFA disciplinary committee, they have been fined and banned.

    Barreto has been fined Ghc3,000 and banned for two games while Gyamfi was fined Ghc 1,000 and banned for one game.
