Senegal national team Coach Aliou Cisse has named Sadio Mané in his final squad World Cup squad despite the player’s injury situation.

Earlier reports suggested that the Bayern Munich forward will miss the World Cup after he picked up an injury in Bayern’s game against Werder Bremen, but Aliou Cisse announced that the player will be joining the team at the World Cup.

Senegal FA believes the player can recover in the competition and feature in the tournament if Senegal progresses further in the competition.
