Hearts of Oak managed a 3-2 win against Liberty Professionals in a friendly on Wednesday at the Phobiman Park.

Manaf Umar was the star of the game, the youngster scored twice to put his side in a commanding position. He grabbed his first goal in the 20th minute when he took advantage of a mistake made by the Liberty Professionals goalkeeper to give his side the lead.

Manaf Umar doubled the scoreline just seven minutes after the first goal, and Kwadwo Obeng Jnr. made it 3-0 in the 33rd minute of the game.

Liberty woke up from their slumber and pulled one back through Elvis Kyei Baffour in the 40th minute.

Liberty started the second half in a very organized and physical manner, Richard Adonu scored seven minutes into the second half to reduce the deficit.

Hearts held firm to deny the visitors an equalizer.
