Lyon have  finally announced the signing of Ghana forward, Ernest Nuamah from Nordsjaelland.

The confirmation of the transfer was announced subsequent to the successful completion of the young talent’s medical evaluation.

Lyon’s official website released a statement expressing their excitement about bringing Ernest Nuamah onto their team.

In the statement, Nuamah’s potential was emphasized, and he was recognized as one of the up-and-coming talents in his position.

Lyon also pointed out that he would be the third Ghanaian football player to become a part of the club, following the footsteps of the renowned midfielder Michaël Essien and former Ghana assistant captain John Mensah.

Nuamah had an impressive performance for FC Nordsjaelland in the current season, scoring five goals and providing one assist in six matches for the Tigers.

The club bid farewell to Nuamah with a video as he left Nordsjaelland, which was followed by an official unveiling video by Lyon.

Having completed his education at the Right to Dream Academy, Nuamah gained recognition during his inaugural full season in European football with Nordsjaelland in the 2022/23 season.

He played a crucial role in their quest for the league championship.

Nuamah’s achievements extended to the international level as he made his debut for the Black Stars in June during the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar.
