Ghana Black Stars defender Jonathan Mensah talked to the press ahead of their final and most important game in the group stages of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Columbus Crew defender revealed that the players are going into the game with the mindset of winning. He adds that anything can also happen in the game; a defeat against Tuesday’s opponents won’t be a disaster for Ghana.

“We are going into this game with a mindset to win, but of course, anything can happen in a game depending on the way you approach it,” he said

“It is an all-out game for us because we know what is at stake. If we win, we can progress to the next stage of the competition, and that is the mindset of the whole team”

“Even if we lose, it will not be a disaster for our nation. So we are just going to the game with just the mindset to win” he added

Ghana will have to win against Comoros to stand the chance of moving to the next stage of the competition. A draw or defeat will see them crash out of the tournament.
