    Liberia President George Weah donates to the late Christian Atsu’s family,

    Liberia President , George Weah has donated to the late Christian Atsu’s family.

    Christian Atsu tragically  lost his life following an earthquake in Turkey on February 6, 2023.

    Atsu was trapped for 12 days under rubble, his lifeless body was found at the apartment he was living in.

    President  Weah sent an entourage led by former Ghana player Kwame Ayew to present his eulogy to the player’s family.

    A cash donation of  $10,000  was presented to Atsu’s family on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from President Weah.

    The delegation led by former Ghana footballer, Pastor Kwame Ayew relayed Oppong Weah’s message to the Twasam family.

    Christian Atsu’s one week observation has been scheduled for March 4, 2023.
