Legon Cities beat Kotoku Royas 2-0 to keep hopes of surviving in the GPL alive

Both teams entered the match with a strong desire to win, and the game was tightly contested with few clear opportunities in the first half.

Nonetheless, Legon Cities emerged stronger in the second half and eventually scored the opening goal in the 52nd minute, thanks to Michel Otou’s well-placed shot.

The Legon Cities supporters were thrilled with the goal, having anxiously watched the match until that point.

Kotoku Royals attempted to mount a comeback, but Legon Cities defended resolutely, and with time running out, Otou secured the victory for the home side with a composed finish for his second goal of the match during added time.

The triumph was a significant boost for Legon Cities, who moved out of the relegation zone with the win, while Kotoku Royals, who were at the bottom of the table, face a difficult challenge in their attempt to avoid relegation.
