Asante Kotoko coach Abdul Gazele has relayed his thoughts on the red card midfielder Richmond Lamptey received in the closing minutes of their disappointing game against Great Olympics.

The midfielder received a second yellow for simulation against Olympics, the midfielder will now miss Kotoko’s next game in the league.

“Well, I don’t see it to be a card against him. I don’t want to take against the officials; anytime I speak in the presser, I don’t talk about officiating” Abdul Gazele said

The coach was then asked if Richmond Lamptey tried to trick the referee with the diving

“I don’t see it that way because we saw a contact, and I think if the referee wasn’t going to give a penalty he should’ve allowed the game to continue” he added.
