Kwaku Osei Bonsu scores debut goal for Al Kharaitiyat in their defeat to AL Shahania

Ghanaian forward Kwaku Osei Bonsu netted his debut goal for Al Kharaitiyat during a 2-3 loss against AL Shahania on their home turf in Qatar.

Bonsu’s lone goal came deep into injury time, precisely in the 90th minute. He skillfully maneuvered past his marker near the right side of the box, then unleashed a strike with his non-dominant foot, finding the bottom left corner of the net.

The 23-year-old made a temporary move to Al Kharaitiyat from FK Spartak Subotica during the summer transfer window, aiming to rediscover his peak form following a challenging season marred by injuries in the Serbian Superliga.

Prior to his stint with Subotica, Bonsu had impressive spells with FC Caracas in Venezuela, where he showcased his attacking prowess.

Despite the team’s loss, Bonsu’s late goal stood out as a beacon of positivity for Al Kharaitiyat, highlighting his technical ability and resilience.

Eager to make an impact, the young striker aims to regain his top form and validate his talent to Spartak Subotica management.
