Ghana midfielder Kudus Mohammed wins another trophy with Ajax as they record their 36th Dutch Eredivise champions.

The Dutch giants beat Heerenveen 5-0 at home to successfully defend their title, with goals from Nicolas Tagliafico, Steven Berghuis, Sebastien Haller, Brian Brobbey, and Edson Alvarez.

The Ghanaian youngster climbed off the bench to enjoy 22 minutes of play, he ends the season on a good note after suffering a rib injury in the early days of he season, he replaced Davy Klaassen to mark his 15th league appearances on Wednesday.

This records Kudus’ third trophy since joining the Netherlands from Danish side Nordsjallaned in the summer of 2020 for 9 million euros.

Ajax have been cautious due to Kudus’ injury issues, not allowing him to play the entire duration of a game this season. He has mostly been used as a substitute.

His significant contribution to the title victory came against Nijmegen on April 23. With five minutes remaining, he came off the bench to set up the game-winning goal that edged Ajax closer to the title.

Kudus also netted in the 5-0 heavy defeat to Fortuna Sittard earlier in the season.
