    Kotoko terminate contract of midfielder Appiah Kubi


    Kotoko have agreed to terminate the contract of midfielder Samuel Appiah Kubi with immediate effect.

    The decision comes after management failed to secure a loan move for the player, who joined Kotoko from the division-one side, Nkoranza Warriors, in September 2018.

    Director of Communications, Samuel Sarfo Duku (Esq), tells Kotoko Express App the decision was taken in response to the player`s request.



    “Samuel Appiah Kubi has mutually terminated his contract,” disclosed Director of Communications, Samuel Sarfo Duku (Esq). “Management tried to secure a loan move for him, but failed and he requested for the mutual termination of his granted which was granted.”

    “Appiah Kubi is a great sportsman and we have thanked him for his services and also wished him well in his future endevours.”



    Appiah Kubi has struggled to earn match minutes since joining the club on a three-year deal under former coach Paa Kwesi Fabin.
