Reports are suggesting that Asante Kotoko have made inquiries about Shafiu Mumuni, James Akaminko and Richard Djodi, and are keen to sign them from AshantiGold.

Asante Kotoko coach CK Akonnor are interested in the trio as he looks to strengthen his team after qualifying for the CAF Confederation Cup group stages for the first time in eleven years.

Reports also suggest that talks and negotiations are promising and both clubs are looking to come to an agreement in the coming weeks.

Kotoko have drawn Zambia sides Zesco United and Nkana as well as Sudanese side Al Hilal in group C of the CAF Confederation Cup.
