Asante Kotoko have released a statement stating that they have withdrawn from the Normalization Committee’s Special Competition semi-finals against Hearts of Oak.

    Official Statement:

We have withdrawn from the Tier-One competition, following the failure of the Normalisation Committee to grant our legal request for a change of venue and equitable distribution of the gate proceeds of our semi-final match against Hearts of Oak.

Asante Kotoko were supposed to play Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Special Competition’s Semi-finals on the 15th of June.
