    Asante Kotoko midfielder Emmanuel Sarkodie has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury, the club announced on Thursday evening.

    Sarkodie was absent in Kotoko’s 2-1 win against Asokwa Derpotivo in the FA Cup this week, he will now miss the remaining two games in the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

    “Sarkodie, unfortunately, will be out for the rest of the season”, Mariano Barreto said

    “He is out with a knee injury which occurred here in training and the doctors are working to ascertain the degree of it. But, what is assured is that he will not play any more part this season.”
