Kotoko coach CK Akonnor responds to criticism on his style of play

CK Akonnor has responded to criticism that his preferred “Agroball”  philosophy is not manifesting so far at Asante Kotoko.

Asante Kotoko have been struggling to grind out results against top teams and this has attracted criticism from the local media who believes the club has no style of play.

CK Akonnor has responded to this criticism, he claims that the players he built his philosophy around are out injured.

“I wouldn’t want to kill some of my players but the players around whom I designed “Agroball” like Senanu and Maxwell Baako are injured,”

Richard Senanu has been injured since February and is currently receiving treatment in Germany, while Maxwell Baakoh is still recovering from a shin injury he picked up in March.
