Asante Kotoko coach Abdul Gazale has called out defender Sherif Mohammed after Kotoko conceded another goal through a cross from the flank into the box.

The Porcupines failed to win at home once again as fans in Kumasi couldn’t believe their eyes when Abednego Tetteh connected with a cross from the right flank to head equalize for Goldstars; the same pattern of goals they have conceded in their last few games.

After the game, Abdul Gazale questioned Sherif Mohammed’s decision-making after the defender allowed Prince Owusu to let the cross in.

“Sherif didn’t do well, he needed to close in the gap but he kept on moving back until the opponent got the cross in the area and it caused a goal”

Asante Kotoko have now won only one of their last six games in the league and are seven points behind league leaders Adauan Stars who have a game in hand.
