Few minutes later,  Marquinhos made it 2-0 for  APOEL going into the break.

Nea Salamis pulled one back after the break through Juan Felipe. Nea Salamis were pushing for an equalizer.

Georgi Kostadinov  scored for APOEL to ensure all three maximum points.

Sarfo was replaced in the 93rd minute by Murtaz Duashvili.

Sarfo has been fantastic for APEOL and hops to continue his fine form.

APOEL play league leaders Pathos on Friday with just a point separating the two sides.
