    King Faisal beat Gold Stars 4-1 to progress to the next round of the  MTN FA Cup

    Kumasi-based, King Faisal have progressed to the next round of the MTN FA Cup after beating fellow GPL side, Gols Stars.

    King Faisal took the lead in the 35 minutes through Samuel Adom Antwi.

    Gold Stars fought to level things and finally found the net in the 43th minute through Emmanuel Appau.

    Adom Antwi scored a brace for King Faisal after the halt time break. King Faisal had the game under control and were cruising to victory.

    Baba Yahaya added scored the fourth goal of the night for the Kumasi-based club to ensure their progress to the next round of the competition.

    King Faisal is hoping to win at least one silverware after a horrendous start to the season.
