Kevin-Prince Boateng is welcome to join my team – CK Akonnor

Ghana Black Stars coach CK Akonnor has stated that Kevin-Prince Boateng is welcome to join the Ghana Black Stars squad whenever he makes up his mind.

Kevin-Prince Boateng was exiled from the Ghana Black Stars team five years ago after a tussle with Kwesi Appiah and the Ghana FA during the 2014 World Cup, but new Ghana Black Stars coach CK Akonnor revealed that he is ready to talk with the Ghana FA to lift the suspension on the player.

“If Kevin-Prince Boateng is available, why not? If he is doing well and actively playing, why not? I need to talk to the GFA about it (to sort out the suspension). But he is welcome.” he told Joy Sports.

CK Akonnor named his first Ghana Black Stars squad a few months ago before the Coronavirus pandemic up a hold on football around the world.
