Kelvin Boateng scores 10th league goal of the season

Ghanaian forward Kelvin Boateng scored for the second consecutive match, helping First Vienna secure an away victory over FC Flyeralarm Admira.

The 24-year-old netted his fourth goal in four games as First Vienna triumphed with a 3-0 win at the Motion Invest Arena on Monday.

In the 9th minute, Boateng headed a long ball to Bumbic on the left side. Bumbic crossed the ball back into the center, where Boateng was ready to head it into the far corner, giving First Vienna the lead.

Midfielder Kai Stratznig extended the visitors’ lead in the 61st minute, and German substitute Philipp Ochs sealed the win with a stoppage-time goal.

This victory moves First Vienna to fourth place in the league standings with 48 points from 29 rounds. Boateng has now reached double figures in the Austrian 2. Liga, scoring 10 goals and providing two assists in 24 appearances this season, with one game remaining.
