Karela United eliminates Asante Kotoko from the MTN FA Cup

Asante Kotoko have been eliminated from the  MTN FA Cup following a 2-0 loss to Karela United in the Round 16 phase of the domestic tournament.

The game took place on Monday, February 12, at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, where both Premier League teams showcased resilience in the initial half, yet failed to capitalize on scoring opportunities.

Karela United seized the initiative shortly after halftime, with Solomon Aboagye finding the net just two minutes into the second period. Despite Asante Kotoko’s spirited attempts to equalize, they remained unable to breach Karela United’s defense.
