The father of Medeama midfielder  John Blay has revealed that he has been told his son Justice Blay has completed a move to Kumasi-based club Asante Kotoko.

John Blay says the owner of Medeama told him that Justice Blay has been transferred to Asante Kotoko ahead of next season.

“I can say on record that my son (Justice Blay) will play for Kotoko next season because I asked Moses Parker and he told me that he has transferred him to Kotoko, and I have no problem about it,” he told Otec FM.

Justice Blay previously went to Asante Kotoko on loan in the 2019/20 season but returned to Medeama after both clubs couldn’t reach an agreement for a permanent transfer.

Asante Kotoko are yet to announce any signings ahead of the upcoming season, but Sahara Football understands player recruitments are set to kick off after the club unveiled their new kits on Monday.
