    Joseph Wollacott  has been cleared for Angola clash after injury scare in training on Tuesday

    Wollacot  picked up a toe injury last night during the Black Stars’ training session  at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

    A goal post fell on the Ghanaian shot stopper which led to the injury. He was attended to immediately by the team medics.

    The extent of the injury has been said to be very minimal after the medical team of the Ghana FA assessed the goalkeeper.

    Wollacot is expected to train with the team today as preparations continue for the game against Angola on Thursday.

    Wollacott  missed out on the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar due to  a finger injury sustained just before the tournament.

    As of today, there is o indication of any other injury in camp with Chris Hughton hoping to secure his maiden victory as head coach of the Black Stars.

    Ghana will face Angola at the  Estadio 11 de Novembro in Luanda four days later after the match in Kumasi this coming Thursday.
