Joseph Esso accused of deliberately missing penalty against former team

Hearts Of Oak striker Joseph Esso was accused of deliberately missing a penalty kick against his former team Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday.

Despite scoring twice, Joseph Esso was accused of deliberately missing a late penalty kick to stop himself from netting a hat trick against his former club.

Joseph Esso denied these claims and insisted that it is normal for a player to miss penalty kicks.

“This is not the first time I am missing a penalty. It happens to top strikers, so it is normal” he said after the game

When he was asked how he felt after scoring against his former club, the striker said he feels great about it.
