Jordan Ayew named as Premier League’s best dribbler in 2023

Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew concluded 2023 as the leading dribbler in the English Premier League.

Playing for Crystal Palace, Ayew executed a total of 84 successful dribbles, securing the top position in this category by the end of an impressive year.

At his current club in South London, he’s having a stellar season, registering two goals and five assists in 19 Premier League appearances.

Ayew showcased his prowess as he played a pivotal role in Crystal Palace’s victory over Brentford last Sunday, just before departing for Ghana in preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations. His absence will undeniably be a significant setback for the Eagles.

Reflecting on the match, Ayew stated, “Securing a win today was crucial for me, especially since it’s my final game before heading to the Africa Cup of Nations. I aimed to depart with a victory.”

On other notable achievements, Erling Haaland ended the year as the top scorer with 29 goals, and Mohamed Salah led in assists with 15.

Bernard Leno from Fulham topped the charts in saves, while Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes created the most scoring opportunities with 133 chances.
