    Jonathan Mensah leaves Black Stars camp

    Ghana Black Stars defender Jonathan Mensah has left the Black Stars camp and will return to his club to recover fully from a head injury he sustained during Ghana’s game against Central African Republic.



    Jonathan Mensah was taken to the hospital after a head injury in Ghana’s second AFCON Qualifiers game, he has been so far discharged from the hospital and will be heading back home for a full recovery.

    Ghana Black Stars team is currently in Japan to prepare for the 4-Nation Kirin Cup tournament.

    Jonathan Mensah joins a list of players who have left the Black Stars camp due to injury following the departures of Jojo Wollacott, Elisha Owusu, and Richard Ofori.
