    Ghanaian goalkeeper Jojo Wollocott saved a  crucial penalty to advance Charlton into R16 of Carabao Cup


    Wollocott was the hero of the night after he saved a penalty in the shootouts against Stevenage in the Carabao Cup to send Charlton into the round of 16 of the competition.

    The match was a closely contested match with Stevenage taking the lead in the 22nd minute through a Luke Norris penalty.

    Chuck Aneke equalised for the visitors, Charlton in the 87th minute with the match going to penalties.

    Wollocott was part of the team that qualified the Black Stars to the world cup and is exepcted to be named in the final list for the tournament.

    The first match for the Black Stars will be against Portugal on the 24th of  November, followed by South Korea on November 28 and Uruguay on December 2.
