    Asante Kotoko have parted ways with coach Johnson Smith after appointing a new Head Coach and two new assistant coaches ahead of the upcoming season.



    Johnson Smith who joined Asante Kotoko in 2019 has been asked to step aside after the club decided to make a massive change to their technical team.

    The former Karela United boss joined the club as an assistant coach for Maxwell Konadu and later acted as the club’s interim coach before dropping down to a coaching staff under Mariano Barreto.

    Asante Kotoko are yet to officially confirm his departure but Sahara Football understands the coach has left the club.
