Experienced striker, John Antwi scored a brace as Dreams FC thrashed Hearts of lions 3-0 in a preseason friendly

John Antwi’s brace contributed significantly as Dreams FC concluded their preseason with  a convincing 3-0 triumph against Hearts of Lions.

This victory was secured in anticipation of their forthcoming journey to Guinea, where they will face off against Milo FC in the Confederation Cup match.

Having earned victory in the FA Cup, Dreams FC commenced their preparations for continental football several weeks ago. This marks their inaugural venture into international competitions.

In preparation for the competition, Dreams FC bolstered their roster by securing the services of experienced forward John Antwi, who recently returned to Ghana.

Notably, the former Al Ahly and Ismaily striker showcased his impressive goal-scoring skills, bagging two goals in the 3-0 victory at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Gael Aholou contributed the remaining goal, contributing to the comprehensive win achieved by Karim Zito’s squad on their home turf.

The squad, known as the “Still Believe” lads, is set to depart from Ghana on Thursday as they head to face Milo FC in the initial leg of their match on the upcoming Sunday.
