In-form Jessica Benni has been rewarded with a late call-up to the Ghana U-15 Girls National Team following her outstanding performances in the ongoing FIFA-backed U-15 Girls Regional Colts League in the Greater Accra Region.

The talented winger has been in scintillating form for Cabfix Ladies FC, emerging as the leading top scorer in the competition with 12 goals after four matches. Her remarkable tally includes a four-goal haul in Cabfix Ladies’ emphatic 9-0 victory over Ga West Ladies on Saturday, March 14, 2026.

Her consistent brilliance in front of goal earned her a place in the national U-15 setup, where she has wasted no time in making an impression. Since arriving at camp on Sunday, March 15, 2026, Benni has already caught the eye with her sharp attacking play and added to her growing reputation by getting on the scoresheet in the team’s most recent friendly.

The Ghana U-15 Girls National Team are currently preparing to defend their title at the upcoming CAF African Schools Football Championship, set to take place in Harare, Zimbabwe from April 2 to 10, 2026.

Ghana heads into the tournament as defending champions after a historic debut triumph in 2025, where they defeated Uganda U-15 Girls National Team 2-0 in the final at the University of Ghana Stadium.

Benni’s inclusion adds further firepower to the squad as the Black Damsels aim to retain their continental crown. Her rise from club-level dominance to national recognition highlights the growing impact of grassroots competitions in nurturing the next generation of Ghanaian football talent.
