    Jerome Opoku nets first international goal for Ghana in friendly versus Uganda



    Jerome Opoku made a significant impact in his international career by scoring his first goal for Ghana during Tuesday’s friendly against Uganda.

    Opoku’s goal, a skillful header from a precise cross by Jordan Ayew, came in a 2-2 draw.

    Despite Uganda’s quick response to level the score, Ghana managed to regain the lead before halftime with a penalty converted by Jordan Ayew.

    However, Uganda equalized late in the game, forcing a draw. Opoku, 25, was born in London but chose to represent Ghana.

    He made his debut for the national team in October 2023 and has already shown his talent and value to the team.
