Inter Allies snatch win against Wa All Stars in friendly game

Inter Allies FC came from two goals down to defeat fellow premier league side Wa All Stars 3-2 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday morning.

The team managed by former Black Stars defender John Painstil featured former National team players, goalkeeper Fatau Dauda and defender Awal Mohammed of Black Stars fame.

All Stars raced into the lead with two first-half goals, with the first coming from the spot and the second, moments later, benefiting from the early pressure.

However, the table was turned and Allies dominated the latter part of the half. Attacker Junior Kyeremanteng pulled a goal back to end the first half.

The second half proved to be more fruitful for the Capelli Boys. Nafiu Suleman and a header from defender Hashmin Musah secured the friendly win.

Allies have now bagged two wins from the last two friendly matches at the Accra Sports Stadium with head coach Paa Kwesi Fabin fine-tuning his team.
