    Ghana’s Inaki Williams was on the scoresheet as he marked   350th appearance for Athletic Bilbao.


    Williams is the third player in the current Bilbao team to have had such number of appearances for the club. Munian (508) and De Marcos (465) are the only players to have made more appearances in the current Bilbao  squad.

    Williams  was at the end of a tailor measured cross from Ander Herrera to open the scoring after just two minutes played.

    This was his 4th league goal of the season as he has had a great start and enjoying his football. The match ended 2-2 as Bilbao failed to go away with all three points.

    Nico Williams, the younger brother of Inaki also provided the assisted Athletic Bilbao’s second goal, after Getafe had equalised.

    The striker  made his Black Stars debut in a friendly against Brazil last month after finalising his nationality  switch from Spain.

    Inaki is very confident Ghana can make serious strides in the upcoming world cup to be hosted in Qatar 2022.
