Black Stars striker, Inaki Williams helped his club, Athletic Bilbao secure their first win of the season

Inaki Williams, the forward for the Black Stars, and his sibling Nico Williams exhibited a remarkable performance, driving Athletic Bilbao to their inaugural victory in the 2023/24 La Liga season.

Both brothers were included in the starting lineup for their away match against Osasuna, aiming to recover from a previous home loss to Real Madrid in the season’s opening game.

The team wasted no time in achieving their first goal, with Nico Williams delivering two assists that contributed to Bilbao’s 2-0 triumph.

On the 11th-minute mark, Nico Williams sent in an impressive cross from the left wing, which his brother Inaki skillfully converted into a goal.

Nico Williams once again connected with Gorka Guruzeta using another well-executed cross, securing an early and comfortable advantage for Bilbao. This lead ultimately led to their inaugural victory of the season.

Inaki and Nico remained on the field for 84 and 65 minutes respectively, demonstrating their indispensable value to the Spanish squad.
