Ghana’s Ibrahim Osman scored his  first competitive goal in Nordsjaelland’s away victory over AGF Aarhus.

In the Danish Superliga, young talent Ibrahim Osman from Ghana achieved a significant milestone by scoring his very first competitive goal for FC Nordsjaelland.

This impressive achievement occurred on Monday when Nordsjaelland secured a resounding 3-1 victory against AGF Aarhus, maintaining their perfect start to the 2023-24 campaign at Ceres Park in Aarhus.

The opening goal of the match was netted by Swedish forward Benjamin Nygren in the 35th minute, with an assist from Mohammed Diomande.

AGF Aarhus managed to draw level with a goal from Nicolai Poulsen just four minutes before halftime.

However, it was Ibrahim Osman who stood out, restoring the advantage for Nordsjaelland six minutes into the second half.

He connected with a pass from Nygren to claim his first goal in the Danish league. The victory was sealed by Danish forward Marcus Ingvartsen, who converted a penalty kick in the final moments of the match.

Ghana U23 star Ernest Nuamah, who had scored a hat-trick in the opening game, began this match on the bench but was brought on in the 68th minute to replace Nygren.

At just 18 years old, Ibrahim Osman has already made an impact, registering one goal and one assist in the first two matches of the new season for Nordsjaelland in the Danish top division.
