South Africa Coach has revealed that he knew Senegalese referee was against his team minutes into the World Cup Qualifiers game against Ghana in Cape Coast.

Ghana Black Stars were awarded a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game after the referee spotted a foul in the penalty box; Andre Ayew stepped up and scored what would be the only goal in the game and would see Ghana in the next stage of the qualifiers.

“And then the game started and after 15 minutes, I went to my bench and said to my two assistants ‘forget it, forget it, Ghana will win this game,” he said in a SAFA Press conference

“And in my career, there are those games that you think that the referee is against you” he added

South African FA sent a complaint about the game to FIFA and are currently waiting for an official response from the football body.
