The Millennium Supporters Union of Ghana (MISUGHA) has successfully inaugurated its first branch in the Volta Region, the Ho Asogli branch, in a ceremony held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Asogli Palace in Ho.

The event, which preceded the main inauguration of the MISUGHA Volta Regional Chapter at the Mawuli Senior High School auditorium, marked a major milestone in the Union’s expansion drive and grassroots mobilisation across the country.

The ceremony was held at the palace of the Paramount Chief and Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State, Togbe Afede XIV, who is also the majority shareholder and Executive Board Chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak. The choice of venue highlighted the importance of traditional institutions in community unity and development.

The inauguration featured the swearing-in of the Ho Asogli branch executives who will oversee the activities of the Union in the area. The newly constituted leadership includes:

    Suzzy Mawuse Gbetsi – Chairperson
Tefe Prince Pius – Vice Chairperson
    Christopher Kwame Heletsi – Secretary
    Nancy Ama Dzah – Treasurer
    Jennifer Baiden – Welfare Officer
    Edith Kwame – Patron
Winfred McDonald Komla Agbo – Deputy Organizer
    Kafui Ametsitsi – Financial Secretary
    Edward Safori Anim – Organizer
Fortune Adza – Media Liaison Officer
Jessey Aku Chidie – Executive Member

In her address, Chairperson Suzzy Mawuse Gbetsi thanked members and stakeholders for their strong support and pledged that the leadership would work diligently to strengthen MISUGHA in the Volta Region. She emphasised the Union’s commitment to unity, youth engagement and sports development.

The National Patron of MISUGHA, Clemence Adonu, who also serves as Deputy CEO of African Village, encouraged the executives to remain focused, disciplined and committed to the vision and objectives of the Union.

The ceremony was attended by MISUGHA National President Abubakar Dawud, the National Coordinator of the Ghana Supporters Union, Alhaji Guntu, as well as other national and regional executives and members from various branches.

The successful inauguration of the Ho Asogli branch sets the tone for MISUGHA’s activities in the Volta Region, as the Union continues to mobilise supporters, promote unity and contribute to sports and national development across Ghana.
