Konadu Yiadom’s header ensured  Hearts of Oak secured the President’s Cup and also earned three points in the Ghana Premier League.

The only goal of  match game in the 57th minute  after goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim failed to deal with a sweet in swinger from linda.

Yiadom  met Linda’s cross with a well-placed header to  put Hearts of Oak ahead in the game in the second half.

The early stages of the game saw both teams coming inches away from opening the score line.

The first half ended in a goalless, with neither team able to find a break through.

The second half began much like the first, but it was Hearts of Oak who eventually took the lead through Yiadom’s goal.

Kotoko pushed for an equalizer  but Hearts’ defence stood their ground denying them any clear opportunities to find the back of the net.

The game ended 1-0 in favour of Hearts of Oak who have won back to back Presidential Cup trophies.

Hearts are currently fourth, level on points with Kotoko but ahead on the table due to a superior head-to-head.
