    Accra Hearts of Oak have intensified training ahead of their GPL week 4 encounter with Gold Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium.


    The team, led by new head coach, Slavko Matic begun residential camping on monday and have intensified training ahead of the resumption of the GPL.

    The GPl is set to return this weekend following the dismissal of the Application for injunction by AshantiGold SC against the Ghana Football Association, the Executive Council of the Association has confirmed.

    Slavko Matic has indicated that, his side will play offensive football as he takes charge of the team. In his first interview he revealed:

    “Football is a simple game for smart people. I grew up in a big club and I know the expectations, how much big,”
    “I like to play offensive football that doesn’t mean we will be on the attack and nobody cares about the defence”.
    Accra Hearts of Oak are set to begin life without coach Samuel Boadu who won them 5 out of a possible 6 trophies in the last obe and half years.
