Accra Hearts of Oak Midfielder, Nurudeen Abdul Aziz has successfully undergone surgery.

Nurudeen has been battling injuries for some time now and was flown to South Africa by the club to undergo surgery on what seems to be a recurring issue.

The midfielder had surgery to to repair a suspected meniscus tear he suffered in the league last season.

The surgery was conducted by Dr. McCready who happens to be the same doctor that worked on the operations of two Hearts of Oak players, Lawali and Daniel Kodie.

Nurudeen took to social media to thank the club for the support during this tough period. He posted on his twitter:

“I wanna reach out in order to thank you guys for your mammoth love and well-wishes. The concern you showed to me was extremely touching and really appreciated. It brings me so much joy to know that there are people out there like you who care. Thanks once again y’all ❤️🙏” ( @AbdulANurudeen1 via Twitter)

The player is expected to miss most parts of the season as he continues his recovery process in South Africa.
