Ghana Premier League side Accra Hearts of Oak have officially filed a complaint against Referee Kennedy Paddy for his performance in Sunday’s Ghana Premier League fixture against Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Kennedy Paddy awarded Asante Kotoko a penalty in the first half after Fabio Gama was fouled in the penalty box.

Kennedy Paddy came under fire for his decision as many felt the penalty was too soft for an important fixture like that involving the two biggest clubs in the country.

On Tuesday morning, Hearts of Oak officially released a statement saying they have officially filed a protest against the referee for his “unprofessional conduct” in their game against Asante Kotoko on 10th April 2022.
