Hearts of Oak complete signing of Ivorian striker Kassim Cisse.

Hearts of Oak have successfully secured the services of Ivorian striker Kassim Cissé on a two-year contract, following a satisfactory medical evaluation.

The 20-year-old prodigy previously competed in the Ivorian Division One league with Lanfiara Sport Attécoubé.

His journey to Ghana began on September 7, 2023, when he arrived to complete all the necessary formalities for this significant transfer. He has now officially inked a deal with the Phobians.

This signing marks a crucial step in Hearts’ strategy to strengthen their squad for the upcoming 2023/24 league season, as the transfer window is drawing to a close. Cisse is anticipated to enhance the Phobians’ offensive capabilities, especially given the departure of key players as they seek to rebuild.

The reigning 2020-21 Ghana Premier League champions will commence the season with an away match against Real Tamale United in Tamale, with the aim of surpassing their performance from the previous season when they finished 12th after 34 games.
