One of the happiest moments of a player’s career is to get maximum playing time when he crosses over to a new club. That’s the story of former Inter Allies shot-stopper, Kwame Baah, who in recent times is the man between the sticks for one of the biggest franchises in Ghana football, Asante Kotoko SC.

The young goalkeeper has unseated the number one in post, Felix Annan, who after tieing the knot with his long time girlfriend has found playing time limited under the current tutelage of Maxwell Konadu.

The former Inter Allies FC man has reposed confidence the head coach had in him by guarding the post gallantly for his Porcupine Warriors side earning them maximum points in most matches he has been given the nod over his compatriot.

The young lad attributed his career-changing season to hard work which manifested against his club’s biggest rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak SC, where they edged them by 2-1 in matchday six of the Ghana Premier League.

“It is all about hard work, though Felix is my senior and the first choice goalkeeper, I couldn’t disappoint. The challenge to keep the poles came after I featured in the win against Hearts of oak.”

Ghana Premier League is currently suspended after a Presidential directive to institute measures to curb the prevailing, COVID-19.
