    Black Queens midfielder Grace Asantewaa joins Mexico’s FC Juárez Femenil.



    Grace Asantewaa, the talented midfielder from the Black Queens, has successfully completed a move to FC Juárez Femenil, a club in the Mexico Women’s Premier League.

    This transfer comes after an impressive two-year tenure with Real Betis Women in Spain, where she made nearly 50 appearances and displayed her exceptional skills.

    FC Juárez officially announced the acquisition of Grace Asantewaa, stating that she would join their women’s first team as reinforcement for the Apertura 2023 Tournament.

    At 22 years old, Asantewaa hails from Ghana and has also represented her country’s national team. Her time at Real Betis in the Spanish first division further adds to her experience and abilities.

    The club warmly welcomed Grace, expressing confidence that her experience combined with their determination would lead to continued success and historic moments.

    Notably, Asantewaa played a pivotal role in helping Ghana secure a remarkable 7-0 aggregate victory against Guinea during the 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers.

    Her standout performances in both legs of the qualifier, with Ghana triumphing 3-0 in Guinea and 4-0 in Accra, highlighted her immense value as a key asset to any team.
