GPL Match Report: Hearts 1-1 Legon Cities; Hearts held as winless run continues

Hearts of Oak were held by Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium behind closed doors on Sunday in Matchweek 13 of the Ghana Premier League, Obeng Jnr’s late strike rescued a point for the Phobians.

Kosta Papic’s team are now winless in their last three games in the Ghana Premier League. Legon Cities almost handed the Phobians their third defeat in a row but Obeng Jnr’s 86th-minute strike snatched a point for Hearts.

Hearts of Oak currently find themselves 9th in the Ghana Premier League table and could move lower depending on the outcome of the remaining Matchweek 13 fixtures.
