Godwin Ablordey takes over as acting coach of King Faisal after club parted ways with Jimmy Corbblah.
King Faisal announced that, the club has club parted ways with head coach, Jimmy Corbblah on mutual grounds and assistant coach, Ablordey will act as interim head coach.
Ablordey was Corbblah’s assistant coach during his time at the club. After 22 league matches, Corbblah’s contract has been terminated as the club isn’t satisfied with his output so far.

King Faisal are currently 16th on the Ghana Premier League table struggling to stay in the league.
In the statement released by the club on the 27th of March 2023, the club confirmed the appointment of Ablordey as interim head cocach.
“Assistant Coach Godwin Ablordey has been put in acting capacity until the employment of a new substantive head coach.”
